Quick answers before you book.
How is the price calculated?
Local moves start at $120 per hour with a 3-hour minimum, and travel time between locations is included. Long-distance moves are priced by the volume or weight of your belongings and the distance. Send us the details in the quote form and you’ll get a clear price in writing before moving day.
Can I move from Washington to Oregon in one day?
In most cases, yes. A move between the Seattle and Portland areas is about a three-hour drive, so a typical apartment or small house fits in one day. Very large homes, extra stops or longer routes may take two days. We’ll confirm the timing in your quote.
What can’t be moved?
For safety and legal reasons we can’t transport hazardous items such as gasoline, propane, paint, solvents, cleaning chemicals, fireworks or ammunition. We also don’t move perishable food on long-distance jobs, pets, or live plants. Please carry cash, jewelry, passports and important documents with you.
What should I do if an item is damaged?
Tell the crew lead right away and take photos of the item. Then contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours, with your name, move date and a description of the damage. We’ll review it and handle the claim under the coverage included with your move.
Do I need to be home during the move?
Someone should be there at the start to walk the crew through the job and at the end to check the delivery and sign off. If you can’t stay the whole time, tell us in advance and we’ll agree on a plan, such as a trusted person with access.
